AI Assistants for Business and Media: Workshop Presentation at IMPACT Forum 2026
Workshop presentation at IMPACT Forum 2026: how to select a task for an AI assistant, set it up, and evaluate the results. Inside — a matrix, templates, a checklist, and useful information.
On October 17, I conducted a workshop titled "AI Assistants for Business and Media: How to Turn Technology into Real Results" at the IMPACT 2026 forum in Dushanbe. I am sharing the presentation — for those who were in the room and want to revisit the materials, and for those who couldn't attend.
The starting point is simple. A company subscribes to a chat assistant and expects benefits to materialize on their own. A month later, employees try out headlines and emails, and after three months, no one is opening the subscription. Three things are missing: a clearly defined task, a documented quality criterion, and a person responsible for the outcome. The workshop is built around these three elements.
The presentation covers the entire journey from goal to solution: three types of goals, four task criteria, and a matrix of "frequency × cost of error," a description of the process as it is and how it will be, instructions for the assistant and its limitations, working with feedback and inquiries, metrics, an honest pilot, and three outcomes based on its results. At the end, there's an implementation plan and ten questions to answer before launching.
