Does the app need an internet connection?
No. Voice sync and tempo estimation run entirely on your device. Internet is only needed for optional iCloud script sync.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login — just open the app and start.

Does my voice go anywhere?
No. Speech recognition runs strictly on-device. Audio never leaves your iPhone and is never stored.

Which languages does voice scrolling support?
Any language your device can recognize (English, Russian, and more). For languages without recognition (Tajik, Uzbek, Kazakh, and others), a tempo mode keeps the text moving while you speak at a speed you set, and stops on pauses.

Does the prompter text appear in the recorded video?
No. The text is drawn only on screen and never in the recording.

Is the app paid?
No. VoicePrompt is completely free, with no in-app purchases.

Is it safe for kids?
Yes. It is rated 4+, contains no ads, and collects no data.
