MDCore is a Markdown editor for macOS developed by Rustam Gulov. This policy describes how the app handles your data. In short: the app collects no data whatsoever.

Data Collection

MDCore does not collect, store, or transmit any user information. There are no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no accounts. Your documents stay on your device.

AI Features

The AI features (chat, rewriting, autocompletion) are optional and run locally: either through an Ollama model server on your own computer (localhost) or through Apple Intelligence directly on device. Your document text is never sent to the developer or to any third-party servers. If you manually configure a different server address in Settings, data goes only where you point it.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
