Frequently asked questions
Which iPhones are supported?
Any iPhone that runs iOS 26 or later. All of them can use both cameras at the same time.
How do I move the small window?
Drag it with your finger right on the preview, or tap Edit and pick one of nine positions. Pinch the window to resize it. In Edit you can also change the corner radius, shape and border.
How do I focus?
Tap the part of the picture you want in focus — the app focuses the camera shown there. Swipe up or down after the tap to change brightness. Touch and hold to lock focus and exposure.
Why is the flash not available?
The flash belongs to the back camera and is shown in photo mode. In video mode use the torch button instead.
Where are my photos and videos?
In the Photos app. If nothing is saved, allow Dual Lens to add to Photos in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
The iPhone gets warm while recording.
Running two cameras uses more power than one. When the iPhone heats up, the app lowers the frame rate automatically and lets you know.
Does the app need the internet or an account?
No. Everything works on the device.
