Privacy Policy

AtmoPulse (“the App”) is developed by Rustam Gulov (“we”, “us”). In short: the App collects no personal data and links nothing to your identity.

What we do not do.
The App has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party advertising SDKs. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell any data.

Your data stays on your device.
Your selected city, favourite cities, language, temperature unit and refresh interval are stored locally on your iPhone only and are never transmitted. They are removed when you delete the app.

What leaves the device.
To show the weather, the App queries the open weather service Open-Meteo, sending the coordinates of the city you are viewing or the city search text you type. No device or account identifiers are attached to these requests. The radar screen loads a Windy map inside an in-app web view. As with any internet request, these services see the IP address of your connection and handle it under their own policies — we have no access to that data.

Location.
The location permission is optional and is requested only when you tap “My location” yourself. Coordinates are used solely to determine your city name (via Apple’s on-device services) and to request the weather for it. We do not store location history and do not track you in the background. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Children’s privacy.
The App is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+. Because no personal data is collected at all, no data is collected from children.

Data sharing.
We do not share or sell data to third parties. The only third-party interaction consists of the technical requests for weather data and the radar map described above.

Changes to this policy.
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new “last updated” date.
