Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?
Open Settings (the gear icon), add a provider, paste your API key, tap “Load model list,” and pick a model. Then create a project and open any stage to start talking with the mentor.

Which AI providers can I connect?
Any provider with an OpenAI-compatible API: OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, Together, a local server (Ollama), or any custom endpoint.

Where do I get an API key?
From your chosen provider’s website (for example, platform.openai.com). You enter the key once and it stays on your device.

Do I have to pay?
The app itself is free and has no in-app purchases. You pay for AI usage directly to your provider at its token rates. The key and the billing stay yours.

Where are my projects and chats stored?
Locally on your device. No account or sign-up is required.

Is my key safe?
The key is stored in the iOS secure storage (Keychain) and sent only to the provider you chose, to authorize your requests. The developer has no access to it.

Do my chats go to your servers?
No. We run no servers. The text you send to the mentor goes directly to the AI provider you selected and is handled under that provider’s privacy policy.

The mentor doesn’t answer or shows an error.
Check that an active provider with a key and a model is selected (a red dot on the gear icon means something is missing), that you have internet, that the key is entered correctly (tap “Load model list” to verify), and that your provider account still has credit.

What languages does the mentor speak?
By default the mentor speaks Russian and can reply in other languages on request, depending on the model you choose.

How do I delete a project or my data?
Press and hold a project tile and choose “Delete project.” You can remove your key in the provider’s settings.
