Privacy Policy

AI Startup Mentor (“the App”) is developed by Rustam Gulov (“we”, “us”). In short: we collect no personal data and run no servers. One important note: to get answers from the AI mentor, you connect your own AI provider key, and the text you send to the mentor goes directly to that provider.

No data collection.
The App has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.

Your data stays on your device.
Your projects, ideas, and mentor chat history are stored locally on your device. You can delete a project at any time.

Your API key.
You enter the key of your chosen AI provider. It is stored in the iOS secure storage (Keychain) on your device only and is sent solely to that provider’s endpoint to authorize your requests. The developer has no access to it.

Data sent to the AI provider (important).
When you message the mentor, your text — your messages and your project’s name and description — is sent directly to the AI provider you selected (for example OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, and others). Processing of this data is governed by that provider’s privacy policy and terms. We do not receive or store your messages. Choose your provider deliberately and do not send confidential information you would not want shared with a third party.

Permissions.
The App needs only internet access — to reach your chosen AI provider. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, or photo library access.

Payment.
The App is free and contains no in-app purchases. You pay for AI usage directly to your provider at its token rates; payments happen on the provider’s side and we do not process them.

Children’s privacy.
The App is intended for entrepreneurs. Because we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children. Note that answers are generated by a third-party AI model whose content we do not control.

Data sharing.
We do not share data with anyone, because we do not collect any. The only data transfer is the requests you yourself send to your chosen provider.

Changes to this policy.
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new date.
